The A-Z Kabbalah Institute was co-founded by Rabbi Avraham Brandwein, Dean of Kol Yehudah Yeshivat of Jerusalem, Israel and Mrs. Zohara Hieronimus of Baltimore, Maryland, USA in 2002. While Rav Brandwein is no longer affiliated directly with our Maryland programs, his writings remain archived on this website and he can be reached in Israel, about his regular classes for men at Devor@USA.net.

Until 2007, the institute featured the teachings of Yehuda Leib Ashlag, z"l who translated the Zohar into Hebrew from the original Aramaic and authored the "Sulam," a commentary on the Zohar which earned him the title "Ba'al HaSulam. Local programs in Maryland were taught by Rabbi Noah Shavrick, based on Rav Brandwein’s writings.

Since the ending of the initial forum, Rabbi Shavrick continues to offer writings online based on Kabbalah and Chassidus. Zohara Hieronimus has continued her own studies and writings and her new book, The Kabbalistic Teachings of the Female Prophets, The Seven Holy Women of Ancient Israel will be released, June 2008, by Inner Traditions, International.

For more information on our programs for men and women, email to: Rabbi Shavrick at AZKF@comcast.net or to Zohara at azkiusa@aol.com
